Tom Six, a self-proclaimed film dictator, is best known for his (in)famous "The Human Centipede trilogy", his beige linnen suits, Panama hat and cigar.  

 

From the moment he could talk, he knew he was born to make movies. Inspired by the thousands of movies he watched with his grandfather, J.J. Six, he decided to dedicate his life to making his own movies.
 

After a short course at the New York Film Academy, he entered the TV world starting out as a director for the very first Big Brother show in the Netherlands. Together with its creator John de Mol, he traveled the world directing Big Brother shows in other countries, among which the live opening show of Big Brother US. In the meantime he prepared himself for his first Dutch feature film: "Gay in Amsterdam". He knew that there would be a huge market for the first commercial gay movie but the Dutch Film Fund thought the world was not ready for a gay movie. Already ahead of his time, he did not back down but created it anyway through smart sponsorship deals and clever producing. Being smart with marketing and business proved to be his strong suit.

 

Two more Dutch films followed: "Honeyz" and "I Love Dries" (or English title "What The F**k?!"). After that, it was time to go international. 
 

Knowing he had to compete with a huge film industry, he knew he had to bring something unforgettable. After a crazy thought which turned into a script, he created "The Human Centipede", a body-horror movie that had every distributor in the world shocked and disgusted. "That movie will never see the light of day, nobody will be interested to see it", so they said. Famous last words.

 

Not one, not two but three The Human Centipede movies entered the world. All three films connected creating a real movie-centipede. Another unique concept.

After The Human Centipede trilogy, Tom created his next masterpiece "The Onania Club" which has been more than praised by the very few lucky critics, press, celebs and fans that did get the chance to see it. Even with nothing but fantastic reviews and fans begging distributors to release it, not a single distributor in the Western world has had the balls to release it.

 

After many years of fighting, Tom decided to create a documentary as his final testament, called "The End of Tom Six". As can be expected from Tom: this is not your average documentary. It's a fever dream, a shit show, a wild ride, a roller coaster of emotions, crazy, funny, dark and satirical as any Tom Six movie should be.
